We are Not the Same

We are Not the Same is a visual journey through a contemporary America caught in a moment of melancholy and ruin. Photographs, like existence, are cracks of light between two eternities of darkness, and it is this existential moment I am trying to capture in the verbal and pictorial signs, the symbols and archetypes, and, not least, the poetic representation of the people. The tales that emerge give us a sense, truthful or not, about who we are and how we live in these still parlous times.
